A few of our servers are affected due to some issues with the network our host is on. This may affect Symzio and some PLUS sites. Will be rectified shortly hopefully.

Robin,  Has there been any update on when the network is likely to be restored? Geraint

Just another update – one of the worst server incidents we’ve ever encountered – 3 out of 4 backup systems simultaneously failed. Accordingly, it appears no data has been lost, but recovery is taking some time.

Good timing Geraint – you posted that as I was typing.

Okay, as we prep to put these sites live again, you will need to go into your DNS to make a change. The global IP address for all PLUS hosting is now going to be routed through 167.114.33.178. So wherever you had the old IP entered (167.114.173.121) you have to replace that with the new one. This will never have to be done again – the old IP was bound to the hardware for some reason, whereas the new one can be ported.

We will send out a notification to all PLUS users regarding this as well.

Everything is back up now aside from the DNS propagation to the new IPs that will roll out as you guys switch your IPs. We have sent emails to all PLUS users regarding this. Some bugs may pop up, and processing media may be slightly slower as we watch how everything works to ensure there are no serious problems persisting.

We apologize about this event and have done everything in our power to rectify it as quickly and safely as possible.
