As the project has grown, the workload in regards to custom requests, installation issues, and other queries has increased significantly. Unfortunately, in order to maintain development, expanding Symzio, as well as keep working at our regular jobs, we’re going to be curbing the amount of personalized support we can provide individual users. This is also due to the fact that the plugin has proven to be very stable and robust with the 2.0 release, minimizing actual bugs and making most issues server specific.

To compensate for this, we are providing the option of paid support requests for individuals or organizations that require custom work or personalized debugging. We are also providing legacy to Symbiostock migrations, as well as full installs. Our costs are extremely nominal and we may increase them in the future as our loads increase.

We still recommend you try to use the documentation and the forums to address most issues, but we also realize some things may require a personal touch from the team, which is why this has been created.

Finally, as indicated on the support request page, if your request introduces us to a Symbiostock bug, we will refund your payment in full.

    I think it’s a great idea.

For those interested, this mechanism is going very well and we’ve had a number of support requests already, all satisfied as requested. Thanks to everyone who has used the system so far, and thanks to all future users who use it as well. It makes dealing with support much more streamlined.
