Hi, I am trying to upload my watermark file to my site but am getting an error message. When I use the multi-file uploader I get the following message when I try to upload a .png file:
“final_stockcube_watermark.psd” has failed to upload due to an error
Sorry, this file type is not permitted for security reasons.
When I use the browser uploader I also get an error message but this time it just says:
    ‘error saving media attachment’

I have only just installed WP and SY (at end of Dec) so have the latest versions. I have also installed the dragonfly child theme.
I uploaded my header menu as a .jpeg and that went up fine. I tried a different .png with a shorter file name and that was rejected too, so it isn’t that.
Has anyone else come up against this?
    Cheers

Try uploading it using ftp to a place of your choice (and remember the path) or using the Media option, not using the uploader you use to upload images for sale

I was using the media option. Sorry I should have said that. I got a new computer recently and don’t have ftp set up on it so that would be a bit of a pain. 🙁

If you look at the error message, it thinks you are uploading a PSD.
