Recently, I’m being notified that my hosting disk space is filled up completely with strange files under the .cagefs/temp folder.
It has names like this: magick-70CB871Wl90ySWe5xxVKR1yC60MLVIXr
All of them are 837.71 MB and there can be 10 of them at the same time.

What is making these temp files? I assume it hase something to do the php extension imagick, meaning it has to do something with Symbiostock, but I can’t find any answer out there that would help me stop and fix it.

Am I the only one with this issue?

Can’t pinpoint when it started, maybe 2-3 weeks ago.

Hi there – not sure what that is, but it may be failed conversions where Imagick is trying to convert files to create thumbnails, but due to limited resources the process fails so the temporary files are not being cleaned.

Thanks, I actually found that answer a few days ago, then tried everything to get rid of it, even set up a cron job to clean up these temp files every hour.

But what actually worked, was the symbiostock pro and lite plugins removal and re-install. I haven’t got a temp file in the last 24 h, and before I had 2 every hour.
