Hi,

I’m new to this and I found that there are multiple licenses and the plugin automatically gives the corresponding file for the download. Is there a way to see what dimensions say for eg, blogger license will be given and Extended etc? Can we override this dimension? Say for the blogger license I want it to be 8X12, Extended to be 12X18, maybe a large format 16X24 and extra large 24X36 (all in inches).

THanks in advance,
Kesava

Hi mate. I’m.not logged into my site but I’m pretty sure that’s under the licensing tab within the back end under the symbiostock tab.

Have you had a look at the documentation on the site? It’s pretty extensive.

Silly of me. Thanks Jacob. I found it.

Thanks again for your time. Sure I will go through the documentation thoroughly now.

That made the work easy. But while I was setting the pixels, I got a doubt which the documentation doesn’t talk about.

Say for eg:

I have an image which I want to set license as below
Small = 8 Inch X 12 inch (2400px By 3600 px) for better quality images.
I sent maximum width = 3600px and maximum height = 2400px. This works fine for landscape orientation images. But now I don’t know what will happen for horizontal (portrait) images? Is there a way to set 3600px on the long edge?

My other licenses are as below.
Medium = 12 x 18 (3600px x 5400px)
Large= 24X36 (7200px x 10800px)

I’d say you need to create a different license for those images so you can set the pixel orientation to be how you want it for that type of image. I’d need to check I’m fairly new to symbio but early Jan I’ll be diving in deep as I have a large site to setup using multiple vendors.try that first and see if it works. Testing in sandbox PayPal mode is best recommendation I can give you. Or set a payment method as cheque and you can check out and make sure it’s processing properly how you want it.

Hi there – I think the best option is to create a square box for the maximum size – ie, 3600×3600, and so whether it is vertical or horizontal that will always end up being the longest side.

Thanks Robin,

I’m now hit a dead end. I created my own licenses like below.

L-Large
L-Medium
L-Small
P-Large
P-Medium
P-Small

Total 6 variations. Each specifying corresponding pixels in the Media output width and height.

Strangely when it is assigned to the product, I don’t see any download link. Previously I use to see something like http://temp.com/<somenumber>. I’m not sure where the issue is now. I have deleted all other licenses which came with the plugin.

Hi there – please create a separate install of WordPress and Symbiostock and compare the licenses you’ve created to the default ones that come with Symbiostock. It is very likely that you have some setting incorrectly set that is not applying the licenses correctly to the media you want.
