Hi new to Symbiostock and excited.  Added about 10 images, captioned about 5 and realized

I wanted to change the license so I deactivated.  Next morning on activiation, it won’t find images during a search.

I have run the processor several times but nothing happens.  Woocommerce is activated also.

It has been working great.  What could I have done?  All the images can be seen in the media tab.

    Hey Mike,

Welcome aboard – what do you mean ‘deactivated’?

If you can explain exactly what you did, and then what you are trying to do now, and what is happening, we can try to help further.

Sure, after a plugin is installed it is activated.

I wanted to shut off the program with the intention of working on it the next morning but did not want anyone to

purchase because I wanted to work on the license.
So I deactivated the plugin.  This morning no images can be found in a search.

    Shock.Media   is the site.

    I see this one:

Any idea why that is visible and others aren’t?

No clue except the Italian glassware is in the store somehow.

All I did was deactivate.  Then I deactivated Woocommerce, reactivated Symbiostock and then Woocommerce.

Even after I deactivated Sybiostock, the glassware was still showing.

The db must be connected cause I see and edit the image records and see a thumbnail.

After deactivating does Woocommerce make another db?

    Hey Mike,

Okay, so it seems it wasn’t deactivating or re-activating that was of issue.

You have no licenses that are set to apply to raster images. So the products cannot be published because they have no pricing attached to them.

When you edit a license, you need to scroll down to the filters to choose whether that license applies to raster images, vectors, or videos (if you have the video plugin). Only then will that license auto apply to those media types.

Once you do that, you need to either re-save the media so it auto applies, or check the Update licenses? checkbox when saving the license.

    Robin,

Thanks so much for your help.  It was working so nice when I installed it.  I can’t seem to get licenses to save.

    I create a variation, I Publish, it’s gone.

    Please Help,

    Thanks

    Hey Mike,

I just checked your global licenses and you’re using the filters, but you have to remember that they are quite a powerful mechanism.

For example, assuming you want the ‘Royalty Free’ and ‘Royalty Free Web’ to show up for all your JPEGs:

For ‘Royalty Free’, you have the ‘Apply to raster images’ checked, but you also have the ‘Must be exclusive’ filter checked. This means it will only apply to exclusive JPEGs. You mark individual media as exclusive by editing it and clicking the ‘exclusive’ checkbox. You also have the ‘Required Keywords’ field filled, with the words ‘Royalty free’ in there. This is another filter.

I have gone in and removed all extra filters, and enabled only the ‘apply to raster’ filter. This way, those two licenses will apply to all your JPEGs automatically.

Check it out now – all your media has those two proper licenses now.
