I am pretty much tied up for the next 5 days. But I will drop in and stay up to date about progress. Sorry about that. Bad timing.
I agree with Chromaco once again. FAA has an option on a thread to make it contributor only, or member only. Why not? Buyers dont need to see the back office. All they need to know and see is a working front.
I agree with Chromaco and Anita. The technical threads started to annoy people, and there were some people actively promoting the hide Sybmiostock option. I think its funny that a project to help everyone in stock caused some irritation. Its a positive development, but people rather complain about their Istock shambles instead of grabbing this opportunity to change it around.
The other thing is, all the threads caused people to think symbiostock is too complicated to set up, and it also caused people to think there are too many bugs. We need to turn that around. Because in reality it is really easy, and my site is running bug free. It does cost time to set it up, but so does every website, ktools or zenfolio etc, etc site.
So I agree we need to keep posting on MSG with positive comments on sales and achievements and all the other stuff as tech support and seo has a home here.
I have been voting on self hosted for all my sales. So we all need to start doing that. Maybe we need to do a call to arms here and on MSG to start using that poll for self hosed?

It took me two months to get to 84% so it is a slow process
I can help. I can write a bit, and I can create a nice powerpoint presentation. I understand Facebook groups and pages, I managed a Mafia Wars clan. I dont mind doing some marketing and writing people. The only problem is, I havent really looked at the possibilities. I rather get assignments then trying to invent the wheel. So count me in as worker bee, not a leader.
My list of things to improve:
-Batch editor needs to be able to show all images in the portfolio
-Batch editor needs to show the image values. Not the default values. this is only possible if all images have the same custom value though.
-Licences need to be able to be toggled off and on
-Selected images need to be able to be toggled selected and deselected
-RM license needs to be more flexible and customisable, the way its set up now doesnt really – suffice RM licensing (or I am missing something)
-Mobile device optimisation still very important to haveIF you need me to explain something better, let me know.

I love this work, its just not very commercially successful. I guess I just need to enjoy it as is. The image of the girl sleeping between snowdrops and her friend looking out for her really does something to me. Its one of my favorite images. I love the expression on the girl’s face behind the gate. Love the scene with the banjo and I love the shot with the balloons. It tells a story to me. I really enjoyed that day. We had so much fun. We laughed our butts off creating the flying umbrella image. That was just hilarious how we got to do that. Its those images that never sell but are close to me. Going to do a shoot with her again in two weeks, and two more gorgeous models. Its all about the fun again, but lets see if I can get a few more nice images.
