In wordpress you can allow/disallow comments in the quick edit menù.
In dashboard go to Pages–>All pages–> You get a page with all your pages. Hover the mouse on the page title and at the bottom appear some option like edit – quick edit. Click on quick edit the row with the page show you some option and there is a check box where you can allow or not comment in this page. If you need to do this for more than a page is the fastest way.

The symbiostock logo was made by faberfoto and donated to the community. As an open source project probably the best way to protect symbiostock is a CC license, http://creativecommons.org/
Without a registered mark the community isn’t totally unprotected. Law can change from country to country, but is almost common that is not enough register something to claim himself as the owner. I don’t know the exact word used in english but Leo can declare the previous use of the draw to stop any intention to register it from other people. When someone registers a patent a tradermark etc must declare the ownership. That said some protection is better for other purpose.
However as said Leo can decide what he want.

Don’t feel the answers above in a negative manner Shelma. Something was early discussed in msg forum, licenses in example.
Marketing already, is an open question; people can agree or not with your proposal but you put here some interesting point.
Already the fragmentation of source is true. Now we have the org, info, com and net as main sources, to not mention the good symbioguides.com that cover the help and tutorial field.
Your advices reminds me that we shouldn’t rely, only on Leo ajt Amanda Christine plrang Steve just to mention the first names that come to my mind. We need to refine some things and some new thoughts are appreciate.

Shazan basically this isn’t a real issue, you can transfer your domain where you want. If you have an hosting plan with XXX and you are’t happy with them you can open another account with YYY. Then you can transfer your website in your new host. And for what i recall basically you need to contact your new host with some data about your domain, and them do the job for you. Wherever you buy the domain don’t care and no-one cat keep it as an hostage is your property until you renew it.

Shelma, Symbiostock is the answer to the request of both the artists and customers. Is a network of site owned by artists that sell directly to customers without middlemen. Allow a fair compensation for artists, and affordable prices to the buyers. Also the direct contact between the parts, means flexibility. Symbiostock is the future.

I think we should emphasize flexibility. Flexibility means that customers are in contact with the artists, and all the problems or request can be answered quickly. In example if a customer need a file in exclusive for a period in symbiostock it is possible. He only need to contact the owner and can deal with him. It is simple for the artist remove from sale a file for two months under fair compensation. Also customer can find a lot of exclusive images that allow to manage the deal in a lot of way. If someone want a flyer without the risk to see the same images in other content maybe in one of the business rival you can manage the things appropriately. Oh and not to say that the files are really exclusive, not as in large agencies where the (professional) exclusive images you can find also sold at multiple sites.
With exclusive files customer don’t find the same image previously purchased, in other site at low price.

Hi Luis, at this time something like this, is still premature.
People here are tired to hear something that appear too similar to agencies. However I think that in a bit of time we will see the born of closed network in symbiostock environment, which is the closest thing to what you are thinking. One of these network probably will allow other artists to upload in their own website and network, with some sort of agreement.
What I like to think about me: I’m an independent, an entrepreneur that can accept to fail but don’t want sort of boss that tell me how I must made my business. Agencies stay away.
Luis if for any reason I will change my mind, and will allow other fellow to upload some work to my website stay sure that I’ll keep between 8% and 15% which is more than enough. This is why I don’t need agencies that act as re-distributor and which take almost all the money gained from images that they don’t produce. An agent can keep a share and work for me not vice-versa.
About the marketing problem. The network seems to work fine. To improve and increase the brand recognition in future maybe we can do some common action. At some point I think that some members will put some effort to publicize their site and maybe when the network will reach the 500 000 images or 500 website or both we can afford a campaign in adword to promote symbiostock.info; 10/15 buck from 150 members can drain a lot of visit I think.
