What Does "Site has updated image and network" Mean?

I get emails that have a title of “Site has updated image and network” and a body with the text “Public image and tag info updated. Network has been scanned and directory updated.”

Sometimes I get the emails every day, and then sometimes I won’t get them for a few weeks.

Does anyone know what this email is trying to say? And where does it come from?

I don’t know either, sorry. Just wanted to mention that I get these EVERY day.

But I also get eMails when other sites (probably the ones that network with me) have updated their Symbiostock theme. I have no idea why I should get informed about that or what makes this my business.

I’m guessing it’s telling you your images have been added to the network? Probably you get the email the day after you add images. I get the email almost every day because I add images almost every day.

I never get emails about anyone updating their theme.

I don’t think so, I haven’t added images in a while and I just got an email two days in a row.

Try this – Go to Symbiostock, Settings
Run daily image update? (for network and connected search engines)

If Yes is selected and you do not want the daily updates then select No.

I assume that it is running an update for networking purposes

If you go into Marketing and run it from there you will see all the sites that can be updated and then are updated when it has finished

That the XML files for network partners, the Global search to use have been updated – if you haven’t added any images in a while you could turn that off, but it’s harmless to generate new XML files when there are no new images or changes to image title, description, etc.

symbiostock_image_info, symbiostock_keyword_info, symbiostock_network and the symbiocard files are the ones updated
