LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my new 8.1 website!

Well, folks, yesterday I finally took the plunge and upgraded from 2.6.5 to 2.8.1… with a whole bunch of help from our wonderful Leo. And now, after a day of exploring and tweaking, I do truly LOVE my new “metamorphosed” look! The colors match those on my older/other site, http://www.marthamarks.com/, so surfing from one to the other feels relatively seamless.

I still have to get on the phone with Paypal because something there is set up wrong. That’s tomorrow’s top project, but it has nothing to do with SYS.

And I’d really like to find a way to show more than 24 thumbnails on a page. If anybody know how to do that in this version, please let me know.

You need to get the genetics lab and the thumbnail infuser, then you can set any number. I have set 96 http://semmickphoto.com/image/

Love the clean look. There is just one cosmetic issue, the blue top bar changes when scrolling and then the search bar doesnt look good.

Are you using the main Symbiostock theme or one the child themes?

I’ve been on Clean Theme 2 from the beginning and officially still am, but Leo did something to it over the weekend to make it work for me. I assume he and Amanda are preparing it for release to work with 2.8.x.
