Did you go though this thread – http://www.symbiostock.org/topic/108/dr … september/ This was written for versions up to 2.6.5 but the menu sections apply for the newer versions as well.

I made it as detailed as possible and added everything I could think of . There is also a useful tutorial if you follow the Knowledge Base link at the top of the page that has pictures which will show you what is what

I have not looked at your links – all sorts of things tried to open when I looked at the first one 🙂

You should already have a Home page.

Have you read the thread – 2.7* is a beta version, very different to 2.6.5 so do some reading before you update ? It will not appear as an update to 2.6.5 you need to download and install as you did to start with

Edit: This comes across as a bit harsher than I intended – take a look at other sites running this and check the threads before you take the plunge. It does look good, just different to existing

Customise – General – Footer – will not stay white – looks white when customising but goes black when “live”

The latest images sliders have banded grey gradient at the edges that overlays landscape orientation pictures – same happens with network search result sliders – grey overlays every first and and part of last image . You might have put something in to remove this that I have not found yet ?

Homepage – is it possible to have widgets on full width rather than just CTA as that squishes some stuff to one side of the page

Edit: Footer – Widgets not a standard colour – I don’t think I have mucked that up, some are pale grey and some match text.

Have added image number under image, and removed “exclusive” banner as have added that under image as well.

I have only been playing with cosmetic parts of this new theme so far, not had time to delve deeper to see if older bugs fixed, managed to sort button colour.

Syxtra – you said you had done a fix – can I have a copy please? I “think” I might be nearly ready to upgrade once that is available now.

They are apparently waiting for some bug fixes from Leo – I have received an apology from them that my images were not online at the beginning of last week when they said they would be.

Use Appearence , menu to put what you want at top right

One of the first requests I made was to move trash away from edit – ‘cos I clicked the wrong one and someone else did the same. I am more careful now 😀

Hi, thanks for that explanation. I will have to explore the 2.7.1 more closely (I am only using it on my testing site at tulip.kerioak.com at the moment, not my real site.) I have just added a header now to match the background image – just two little white pillars to try and dispose of now.

There are no instructions for the latest version yet – it has only been around for a few days and I do not know about other people but I like to become comfortable with something before I add start adding tutorials etc 🙂

Licences – you can only add them with the professional plug in, but this can be done at any time. I have only had them for a few weeks since the plug in was released – as has everyone else who is using them. Some people like the plug in for twitter, others for collections and I wanted the licences. I have found it is best to put all the versions of your licence on one page as (at the moment anyway) the links only go to the standard licence, from the image, download and sale emails.

I use Justhost and did a search in their help files. In cPanel there is a php button and I followed that to get a choice of which one to use.

You can have a subdomain to your main site and install wordpress/symbiostock on that
